At the end of April, Central Rent 2 Own joined with Nampa First Church to raise funds for Nampa First’s trip to Thailand this summer.  Central R2O was able to participate in the fundraiser by donating furniture that was sold at the yard sale to raise money.  While in Thailand, the team from Nampa will mainly spend their time directing daily VBS programs at children homes and leading a retreat on leadership for college-age individuals.  Employees of Central have been members of the team traveling to Thailand in the past and continue to be this year as well.  Through the successful yard sale, Nampa First was able to raise the majority of funds needed to put on these programs in Thailand!

In addition to donating furniture and traveling to Thailand, Central employees showed their investment to the cause by helping with the yard sale.  Beyond helping, on their own initiative, many employees also purchased t-shirts to raise money.  Through purchasing a specialty designed t-shirt for the cause, employees were able to provide children in Thailand with a new t-shirt and special dinner.  The employees of Central are excited to continue showing their support of Nampa First’s efforts in Thailand by wearing the t-shirts they purchased on monthly “Thailand T-shirt Days” at the stores.  From management to employees, Central Rent 2 Own is invested in the Nampa community as well as worldwide.  Here at Central R2O, we are excited to be apart of the impact people in the Treasure Valley will have in the lives of children in Thailand!
